In light of the announcement that our current Group Director Digital & Technology will be transitioning to the CIO position, we are seeking to appoint a strategically minded and experienced leader to fill this position.
Profile
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by shaping the digital future of our bank. As our Group Director Digital & Technology, you will drive our digital transformation and innovation, develop and implement the D&T strategy, and safeguard a resilient infrastructure to deliver reliable, secure, and innovative digital services to co-workers and customers.
More specifically you will:
- Partner at all levels inside and outside of the organization to develop, implement, and execute a group-wide D&T strategy, that enables the organization's strategic objectives and improves the speed of change and cost efficiency of the bank.
- Lead the Digital and Technology function for Triodos Group and lead the digital transformation roadmap, balancing day-to-day operations with strategic change initiatives and the need to remain compliant and in control.
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of a scalable, adaptive and cost-efficient ICT architecture, using the potential of external partnerships to increase our pace of change.
- Ensure a secure, reliable infrastructure and workspace, supported by efficient IT processes and operations
- Lead the application of emerging technologies to create innovative solutions for co-workers and customers.
- Drive group-wide change initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Safeguard information security, IT risks, cybersecurity, and business continuity, ensuring resilience against threats and disruptions.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- Proven senior leadership in multi-country environments, ideally in the financial industry.
- Experience driving digital transformation, ICT strategy, and large-scale IT operations.
- Deep expertise in ICT architecture, infrastructure, software solutions, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with working in a multicultural environment and embracing Agile and EDI values.
- Fluency in English in both speaking and writing.
Your future colleagues
You will be reporting directly to the CIO and be a part of the CIO leadership team.
Digital & Technology consists of four departments at the moment of approximately 230 FTE (D&T Strategy & Architecture, Software Solutions, Platforms & Infrastructure, IT Risk & Resilience, and Services & Change).
Your role is also part of the Operational Risk Committee (ORC) and the Transformation Committee (TC), assigning resources and budget to the Group Change initiatives.
