To make this possible we would like to bring on board an enthusiastic and mature professional for a role of Senior Corporate Strategy Consultant.
Profile
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by playing a key role in both shaping and executing the corporate strategy for the Triodos Group. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead transformative projects and provide strategic counsel to the Executive Board, delivering insights that directly contribute to our strategic choices. With a strong focus on marrying long term ambitions with near term priorities, your work will help steer our response to changing market landscape, value creation enablers, and unlock new opportunities for growth and future-proof operations.
Together with your team, you will:
- Shape corporate strategy agenda that aligns with Triodos’ mission and long-term goals, creating a clear roadmap for growth, impact, and organizational readiness
- Cultivate a forward-looking perspective, proactively assessing potential future scenarios to ensure Triodos remains resilient and adaptable in a dynamic financial landscape
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board, translating complex analyses into focused discussions and provide high-impact recommendations that support critical decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into actionable and measurable operational plans, ensuring alignment across all business units.
- Ensure alignment and cohesion across the organization’s objectives and initiatives through group strategic plans
- Effectively communicate the strategy and progress to Triodos co-workers and key stakeholders

- Have a demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex multi-faceted problems, develop unique perspectives, and act on these by taking stakeholders along
- Have ability to build trusted and collaborative relationships and credibility with stakeholders
- Be an effective communicator who can clearly articulate complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences through written presentations and in discussions
- Have a strong understanding of and personal connection with the Triodos mission to further build our unique identity and ensure that Triodos remains a frontrunner in the sustainable finance space
- Have ability to shift between strategic critical thinking and project delivery, proven experience managing projects with pragmatism and cross-organizational awareness, ability to balance between ambition, challenging the status-quo and feasibility
- Be able to frame and structure complex strategic questions by formulating the objective, hypotheses, and design analytical approaches
- Be able to drive advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and impact analysis to support informed evaluation of strategic options
Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- Minimum 8 years relevant industry and strategic work experience showing strong career progression, alternatively 5-8 years’ experience in top strategy consulting firm
- Experience working with / within the Dutch financial sector
- Fluency in English in both speaking and writing
