As part of this mission, Triodos Investment Management (Triodos IM), a 100% subsidiary of Triodos Bank, plays a crucial role in driving sustainable impact. Within Triodos IM, the Investments in Private Debt and Equity (IPD&E) team manages funds that invest in financial institutions specializing in microfinance and SME finance in emerging markets. With the increasing role of Fintech, we explore new pathways to expand financial inclusion and support key global transitions in Energy, Food & Agriculture, and Social Inclusion.
This is a 32-40 hours per week internship for a 6-month period, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the department of IPDE&E, the ECCA/Asia team.
As part of the internship you will:
- monitor clients; analyze Quarterly Monitoring Reports, portfolio performance and financial statements
- assist in conducting Customer Due Diligence
- support Investment Manager in analyzing financial-, risk- and sustainability data
- preper market and country analysis reports together with Investment Manager(s)

To be successful in this role, you:
- are currently studying at an accredited university, specializing in finance, business economics, business administration, investment management, sustainability, or international studies/emerging markets
- have an affinity for research and analytical work and are able to learn quickly
- are proactive, well-organized, and hands-on, with a facilitating attitude and an intrinsic curiosity
- have excellent communication skills and work well in a team, but can also operate independently while collaborating closely with experienced team members
- have a strong interest in sustainability, social impact, and financial inclusion
- are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- have a strong command of English, both written and spoken
