Join us, we are a frontrunner in ethical banking and global impact investing, and we need people like you to make change happen.

We believe that money can change the world for the better. In fact, our organisation was founded on this belief. Our mission is to create a society that protects and promotes the quality of life of all its members with human dignity at its core.

Our organisation has grown in both scale and complexity over the last few years, which creates more opportunities for people to join us. Currently we would like to bring on board a dynamic and positive-minded student to support and learn from our HR Service team during a 4- to 6-month internship.

Profile

How you will make a difference

You will help us to ‘change finance and finance change’, by supporting our HR Service team.

As a part of your daily routine:

  • You will gain experience in being the first point of contact for all our co-workers in the Dutch entities.
  • You will learn to provide support with candid, clear and effective answers to their questions, working closely with HR colleagues and learning to act as a key connector across teams.

Next to supporting co-workers and managers in close collaboration with your HR colleagues:

  • You will serve as an ambassador for the department by answering first-line questions from co-workers and managers in the field of HR.
  • You will gain experience in personnel administration (including on-and offboarding, checking employment contracts and employment condition letters, processing co-worker changes and safeguarding both the employment law processes and our own HR processes).
  • You will support the execution of various HR processes and policies, learn to consider their impact on our co-workers, and be encouraged to proactively contribute ideas for improvement.

What you will bring

Your unique potential and your values matter for us most. We look for people who are self-aware and who think in a holistic way, always conscious about their impact on society, environment, and the economy.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • be a motivated student (MBO, HBO or WO) who is interested in further development within HR.
  • be open to people
  • be accurate and pay attention to details
  • have good command of Dutch and English both written and verbal

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn to act with integrity and honesty by becoming familiar with our policies and processes, handling personal information with care, and understanding the importance of equal treatment for all.
  • Develop your communication skills by connecting with co-workers and partners, being open and approachable, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Furthermore, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow. Ideally, you will bring:

  • an interest in developing a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude, aiming to deliver careful and thoughtful work,
  • a willingness to work collaboratively and learn how to keep an overview in dynamic environments,
  • an open mindset for working in teams, with a focus on building communication and collaboration skills,
  • a basic familiarity with (or motivation to learn) tools and processes that support structured and organized teamwork.

Your future colleagues

You will be mentored by one of the three HR Officers, and you will be reporting directly to the Head of HR Service Delivery. You will cooperate closely with Payroll Officers, HR Systems Specialists, Comp & Ben Experts, the HR Business Advisory Team, the Talent Acquisition Team, ICT Service Desk Agents and Authorisation Management.

The HR Service Delivery team currently consists of HR Officers, Payroll Officers, HR Systems Specialists, HR Product Owner Processes, Comp & Ben Experts, an Absence & Employability Coordinator and HR Data & Information Specialists.
