Functie

Triodos Bank is in a transformation to “One Bank, One Team, One Mission”. A new Digital & Technology functional line has been created. To strengthen the resilience of the bank, all local and group activities for IT Risk, Information Security, e-Crime and Business Continuity Management are combined in one department IT Risk & Resilience.

Application Engineer

Manage the system for the screening and monitoring solutions to detect financial crime and ensure compliance!

Profile

You will be part of the e-Crime teams for CDD, AML and fraud. These are development teams allocated to the functional line KYC & Financial Crime. You are reporting to the Team Lead e-Crime.

  • As Application Engineer for e-Crime, you are responsible for ensuring a continuous operation of the system supporting the screening and monitoring solutions for KYC & Financial Crime.
  • The e-Crime fusion teams consist of co-workers from KYC & Financial Crime, Data & Analytics and Digital & Technology.
  • You are a driver in the e-Crime fusion teams for setting up a CI/CD pipeline for the system.

Take action

  • Support our continuous 24/7 operation.
  • Enhance the application level monitoring & alerting.
  • Support and steer the ITIL processes around the application; release and deployment management and incident management.
  • Support the team with setting up and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Serve as central point of contact for the RiskShield application, for the team, the Product Owners, the Infra department and the operations teams.
  • Dive into the world of KYC & Financial Crime and help to protect the bank and its customers!

Profiel

This is you
You communicate easily with many different stakeholders within ICT. You are flexible and able to keep many balls in the air. You have a strong personality and are able to coordinate. Due to the nature of the work it is important that you can switch quickly, set priorities and you are stress-resistant. You are also eager to learn and you keep yourself informed on new developments in IT and in payment processes and the areas of Fraud, AML and CDD. In this way, you gradually expand your knowledge and develop yourself further.

This is complemented by:

  • Higher education level.
  • Background in IT and 5 years of work experience in the field of business-critical application management.
  • Affinity with banking processes and AML/fraud monitoring in particular.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Experience with configuring & supporting a CI/CD pipeline including scripting and the related tooling e.g. Ansible Automation Platform, TeamCity, Nexus and Splunk.

The team
The e-Crime teams are multi-disciplinary teams, but most of the members are from Digital & Technology. The first e-Crime team started in 2019 and has since grown to three teams and about 16 dedicated colleagues who feel responsible for good CDD/AML/fraud monitoring.
